Your stay at Marea will be unforgettable—a rustic, romantic stone villa with white wood trim built in the traditional Aeolian style and located just steps from the Mediterranean. Located on the exquisite isle of Panarea, the smallest of the Aeolian Islands, the property offers spectacular views from its various terraces. From the rooftop terrace, you can see Stromboli, the rock of Basiluzzo, and Lisca Bianca.

The two-story villa is two independent apartments, each with a private entrance but sharing the terraces and furnished solarium. The interior is all country white—accented with nautical touches and solid brown wood furniture. The three spacious queen bedrooms on the ground and first floors all have en suite bathrooms. On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchenette and sea-view terrace. The first floor has a living/dining area with a fully equipped kitchen and ocean-side terrace.

Marea is within walking distance to the center of Panarea—stroll to the fine restaurants and boutiques. Take a ferry or hydrofoil excursions to the rest of the Aeolian Islands.

What to do on the island of Panarea
This rustic natural refuge offers the best of both worlds. Villa Isolana is less than 1 mile upward, on the Panarea's one paved road—not far from the one beach, "La Spiaggetta," the perfect destination for scuba diving and snorkeling. The nearest boat and private helicopter rental is under a mile away. Reachable by hydrofoil: Reggio di Calabria airport (2 hours), Milazzo (1 1/2 hours), Lipari (30 minutes). Residents walk or circulate via electric golf carts (taxis or private). To mingle with the life off-shore, rent a boat and explore the crystal-clear water, rocky islets, and other Aeolian Islands. During the summer months, the 200-strong population of Panarea soars with visitors from the mainland and abroad. By day, revel in nature. By night, rub elbows with jet-setters from around the world—at one of the night clubs or hot spots on the Island.
